Sougata Ray is a Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship (Practice), Thomas Schmidheiny Chair Professor and Executive Director of the Thomas Schmidheiny Centre for Family Enterprise. Earlier he served Indian Institute of Management Calcutta for over two decades as a Professor of Strategic Management, a member of the Board of Governors and Dean. He was also a senior level executive in Infosys Technologies Limited for two years in a strategic role as Head of innovation Lab. He is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and Indian Institute of Engineering, Science and Technology, Shibpur.
Amitabh Rajan is an Indian Administrative Service officer of Maharashtra cadre 1979 batch and the former Home Secretary and Additional Chief Secretary of Maharashtra. He currently heads the Reserve Bank of India Services Board as its Chairman, and is also an Independent Director in the Board of the State Trading Corporation of India.
Rajan has written several books, including “Ethical Dimensions of Administrative Power”, “Sociology of Human Rights” and “Explorations in Local History and Literature”. He has also authored over 15 research articles including the publications in Indian Journal of Public Administration.
Rajan holds a Bachelor of Arts in History, a Master of Arts (with Distinction) in Modern History and a Doctorate in Sociological Jurisprudence from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Dr Sujit Kumar Pruseth has been an academic after doing MA. M.Phil and PhD in Political Science from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Subsequently, he started his career as faculty member at National Law School of India University, Bangalore and taught at IIM, Indore. He is trained by UN-HABITAT in Israel. He is an acclaimed author and has to his credit 10 books in English and 3 books in Odia. He writes regular columns in leading English and Odia dailies.
He was a content contributor for the hindi series BIDROHEE aired on Starplus India and Hotstar Disney.
Prof. Kalyan is a faculty in the Strategic Management Area at XLRI. He was earlier a faculty in the Business Sustainability Area at IIM Lucknow.
He has worked on environment and sustainability projects for UNEP, IFC, and various ministries of the Indian government. He has also been associated with GIZ-Nokia project on sustainable consumption and electronic waste management using informal sector in India.
Kalyan is an Fellow Alumnus of IIM-Ahmedabad and holds a B.Tech (Electrical Engineering) from NIT Bhopal.
He has been facilitated with Numerous International and National Awards and Scholarships and has published journals on the prime areas of electronic waste management and sustainable development goals.
An engineer-turned-MBA-who found his calling in public policy entrepreneurship, Pratyush comes with wide experience of working with Minister’s office in various social, economic and infrastructure ministries. He believes that the synergy between humanities, business and technology can create a better world.
He is a widely published columnist with articles in leading Indian media platforms like The Hindu, India Today, Financial Express, The Pioneer, Yourstory. He is also a TEDx speaker and delivers guest lectures and talks at various leading humanities, business and technology institutions.
He did his MBA from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and B.Tech in Electronics Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur.
When he is not working to connect people and policies, he can be found fiddling with a new gadget or in a bookstore or in a cafe, exchanging thoughts on society, philosophy and human behaviour.
