About Communeeti

Who We Are?

Communeeti is a non-profit organisation which works on connecting people with policies, catalysing community-centric policy making and influencing public discourse around policies.

A think-and-do tank, we combine academic research with field action to drive change. We facilitate development and implementation of forward-looking, effective and inclusive public policies.

We work with communities to build capacities, collect insights and catalyse social action. We empower communities with awareness on public policies and facilitate their active participation in the policymaking process.

Pratyush Prabhakar

Pratyush Prabhakar

An engineer-turned-MBA-who found his calling in public policy entrepreneurship, Pratyush  comes with wide experience of working with Minister’s office in various social, economic and infrastructure ministries. He believes that the synergy between humanities, business and technology can create a better world. 

He is a widely published columnist with articles in leading Indian media platforms like The Hindu, India Today, Financial Express, The Pioneer, Yourstory. He is also a TEDx speaker and delivers guest  lectures and talks at various leading humanities, business and technology institutions. 

He did his MBA from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and B.Tech in Electronics Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur. 

When he is not working to connect people and policies, he can be found fiddling with a new gadget or in a bookstore or in a cafe, exchanging thoughts on society, philosophy and human behaviour.

Divya Singh Rathore

Divya Singh Rathore

A public policy entrepreneur with cross cutting experience of Government, media, consulting and think tanks. Her work with Minister’s office across Ministries of Education, Culture,Tourism and Northeastern region, has given her a ringside view of policy making and implementation process. 

She did her Graduation from Lady Sri Ram College and Post Graduation from The Hindu College, University of Delhi. Her passion lies in exploring treasures of history and cultural heritage. She believes that culture is a great enabler of unlocking human and social potential. 

She is a widely published columnist with articles in The Hindu, India Today, Firstpost, News18, The Pioneer. She is also a TEDx speaker and loves interacting with young students. She has also been a state-level tennis player and a trained Bharatnatyam dancer. She aspires to open a school for the girl students of Rajasthan, state where she comes from. 

When she is not building Communeeti, she can be found in the Himalayas, in the tennis court or on a stage performing Indian classical dance.

Suryapratap Babar

Suryapratap Babar

Suryapratap has completed his B.Tech. from IIT Bombay. At IIT he was the co-founder of the Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Team of IIT Bombay. He has published research papers and articles in the field of navigation and physics. Post IIT, he worked as a project manager in the real estate sector in Pune. 

Suryapratap is driven towards the impact sector through his vast knowledge of public policy. He is an avid reader and has been published frequently in leading publications like Times of India, India Today, Economic Times, Business World and Open.

Suryapratap is currently pursuing MBA from IIM Udaipur. He enjoys mentoring students for competitive exams and career pathways.

Meet Bhatt

Meet Bhatt is a dedicated advocate for Sustainable Holistic Development in Rural India, bringing over a decade of experience in the development sector. His expertise spans various sectors, including media, education, youth programs, entrepreneurship, rural development & tourism and fellowship initiatives. Formerly running a social enterprise in Rural Tourism, Meet now contributes his skills to Anant, following a role as a Program Centre Coordinator at the Centre for Public Policy.
